MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 5 TEAMS OR EVENT WILL BE CANCELLED
DEADLINE TO ENTER: MONDAY, APRIL 19, 2021 4 P.M.
RULES:
FIRST RULE IS TO BE SAFE, CREATIVE AND HAVE FUN!!!!!
• EACH ENTRY MUST CONSIST OF A TWO-PERSON TEAM (CAN BRING FAMILY/FRIENDS FOR SUPPORT)
• MUST HAVE MINIMUM OF 5 ENTRIES OR EVENT WILL BE CANCELLED
• EACH TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING THEIR OWN COOKER, SEASONINGS, DECORATIONS, WATER, ETC. SPONSOR WILL PROVIDE MATCHING TRAYS OR CONTAINERS FOR JUDGE’S PRESENTATION
• EACH TEAM MUST BE SET UP IN THE COOK OFF AREA. COOKING OUTSIDE OF THE AREA WILL NOT BE ALLOWED
• EACH TEAM WILL RECEIVE TWO WHOLE BIRDS TO BE PICKED UP BY CONSTESTANT FROM THE TYSON FOODS BOOTH BETWEEN NOON AND 1:00 P.M. ON SATURDAY, MAY 1ST
• CHICKEN MUST BE THOROUGHLY COOKED TO AN INTERNAL TEMPERATURE OF 165 DEGREES OR HIGHER FOR WHITE MEAT AND AT LEAST 185 DEGREES ON DARK MEAT. TEMPERATURES MUST BE VERIFIED BY SPONSOR OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO REMOVING FROM GRILL
• ONE CHICKEN MUST BE PRESENTED FOR JUDGING. CAN BE WHOLE, CUT UP OR DEBONED. ENTRIES MUST BE READY FOR JUDGES AT 3:00 P.M.
• ENTRIES MUST BE PRESENTED TO THE JUDGES BY SPONSOR OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVE, AND BE FREE OF ANY TEAM/PERSONAL IDENTIFYING MARKS
• ENTRIES WIL BE JUDGED ON APPEARANCE, TASTE, TEXTURE AND PRESENTATION
• BOTH MEMBERS OF THE WINNING TEAM WILL A RECEIVE A NEW GRILL (IF ONLY ONE PERSON PARTICIPATES IN THE COOKING, ONLY 1 GRILL BE AWARDED – NO AWARD FOR ABSENTEE MEMBERS)
• THE SPONSOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELECTING JUDGES
• JUDGING STARTS AT 3:00 P.M.
