We are excited to announce the upcoming 75th Annual Membership and Awards Banquet hosted by the De Queen/Sevier County Chamber of Commerce. The banquet will be on Thursday, February 27th at the De Queen High School cafeteria. Before presenting our business and community service awards, we will have our annual silent auction featuring items donated by our membership. Doors will open at 5:30 pm to allow time to mix, mingle and bid with the De Queen Jazz Band performing live . Food service will begin at 6:30 pm and will be served by The De Queen High School Soccer team .
Tables may be reserved with the purchase of eight or more tickets. The cost is $25 per person or $200 per table. Call the chamber office or email us at dqchamber@gmail.com. Business or organizations reserving a table are eligible to enter our table decorating contest. Ask for more details when you call to book your table.
This year, the chamber will be celebrating their 100th anniversary, and the theme for this year’s banquet is to “Developing through the Decades” as attendees are encouraged to come dressed in attire from their favorite 10-year span from 1920-2020.
The Silent Auction has always been a very successful fundraiser for the Chamber, and we are again asking for your donation to ensure its continued success. A member of the board of directors will contact you about any items or services you may wish to donate for our silent auction. As always, we appreciate your support of this vital community organization and for our annual membership banquet.
